When we went on our roadtrip out to California back in the Summer of 2003, one place I had to stop was the Black Hills Institute of Geological Reseach.  Not only is it a wonderful museum...  Not only have they found just about the most T. rex fossils around... Not only did they find Sue the T. rex and Stan the T. rex... but it's ran by a couple brothers (Pete and Neal Larson) who love dinosaurs and fossils and are genuinely great people.  Pete Larson was extremely nice when we visited with him while there.  Even thought he was very busy, he still took time out of his day to give us a behind the scenes peek at a T. rex replica of Stan they were preparing for Indianapolis' Children's Museum.  Pete Larson is a very classy guy and our visit at the Black Hills Institute is one of the highlights of our trip that year.  Just click on the picture for the full size photograph.
